Through historical phenomena, the poet chanted the eternity of the universe, the endless rivers, and the everlasting green mountains, while generations of heroes are all fleeting.
At the same time, the flattening trend of ink and color causes the painting to compress from three-dimensional space to two-dimensional space. This change made from the artist strengthens the form sense of the painting and the emotional expression power of ink and color itself.
Provenance
Zhang Jinxian applies the technique of combining splashing ink and splashing color used in this artwork was created by Chang Dai-chien(1899 – 1930), one of the best-known Chinese modern impressionist. Its essence is to reshape the traditional relationship between Chinese brush, ink and color.Based on the attention to the visuality of the painting, it weakened the status of the lines in the picture, strengthened the expressive power of ink and color, and finally exceeded the traditional formula of "painting with ink”.

Literature
Fairy on the waterfront 临江仙The torrents of the Yangzi wash away heroes of yore,
Right or wrong, success or failure, all are no more.
Green hills and wide rivers remain the same,
How many times has the setting sun spread its flame!
Fishermen with white hair work along rivers and on isles,
Rowing their little boats leisurely for miles.
They carry bottles with liquor and drink at ease,
Chatting about the past and smiling in the breeze.
