Provenance
The artist is Belgian, and regularly stays at the North Sea, where the wind blows hard; the memory of a young woman with her hair in the wind inspired this work.

The creations of Hedwige Leroux come from a patient work of the earth, which she models with finesse, in view of the bronze. The artist plays on textures and marks her mark in the clay, giving life to fine and harmonious silhouettes, with an assertive presence.
